Bird Flu is here!

As of 10th January 2008, H5N1 Avian flu is in the UK amongst wild birds. Whilst the chances of a humans contracting the disease is low it is still significant and should be considered a threat .

Further risks involve the transfer of the virus throughout the UK by cross contamination, it is reccommended that "Bio security" precautions are taken by any one working or spending time near any game or wildfowl birds.
